This song, named after our band, was written by Don CovayAretha Franklin first released the song as a single in 1967 and subsequently it appeared on many of her albums. It reached number one on the U.S. R&B chart, staying there for four weeks, and went to number two on the pop chart in January 1968.

I Got You (I Feel Good)

"That's the Way Love Is" is a 1967 Tamla Motown single recorded by The Isley Brothers and produced by Norman Whitfield, later covered in a 1969 hit version by Marvin Gaye.

Land Of 1000 Dances

A song written and first recorded by Chris Kenner in 1962. The song is famous for its "na na na na na" hook, which was added by Cannibal & the Headhunters in their version of the song in 1965, whose version peaked at number thirty [1].

Nowhere To Run

Nowhere to Run is a 1965 pop single by Martha & the Vandellas for the Motown label and is one of the group's signature songs. Included on their third album, Dance Party, "Nowhere to Run" hit number eight on the Billboard Pop Singles chart, and number five on the Billboard R&B Singles chart.

In The Midnight Hour

In the Midnight Hour is another song originally performed by Wilson Pickett in 1965 and released on the 1966 album The Exciting Wilson Pickett. It was composed by Pickett and Steve Cropper at the historic Lorraine Motel in Memphis.
